Elementary

Abcya.com: Provides over 400 fun and educational online games in a variety of subjects for PreK-6th grade. 

PBS Parents: Provides games, articles, printables and activity suggestions for kids ages 2-8 in a variety of subjects. 

PBS Kids Ruff Ruffman: Short videos to share with kids about staying safe online and how kids can and should use media and technology. 

 

 

Middle and High

HippoCampus: Features free videos on the sciences, math, history, economics, and more for middle school through college students.

CIA World Factbook: Hosts detailed maps, one-page fact sheets about countries, and other information.

Procon.org: An independent, nonpartisan, nonprofit charity whose mission is to promote critical thinking and informed citizenship.

Purdue's OWL (Online Writing Lab): Free writing resources and instructional material Learn about writing, research, and citation.

 

All Ages

Wide Open School: Gathers over 75 content creators to provide online learning activities for PreK-12th grade.

Khan Academy: Offers practice exercises, instructional videos, and a personalized learning dashboard for math, science, history and more for K-14. 

Scratch and ScratchJr.: Scratch is a programming language and an online community where children can program and share interactive media such as stories, games, and animation. 

CK-12: This website provides free, interactive textbooks and activities for grades K-12.
