As of July 1, 2021, Burbank Public Library has eliminated overdue fines. This move is part of our efforts to improve equity of access. While fines for overdue items may seem like a small burden, they can create a major barrier to service for those who are struggling financially.

In July 2021, the City of Burbank observed its 110th anniversary, celebrating more than a century of tradition and growth coming together to create the community we know today.

Volunteering in the Spark! Lab

Burbank Public Library is seeking volunteers to assist in the Spark! Digital Media Lab at the Central Library. The Spark! Lab is a technology learning space providing access and training in the use of software and equipment relevant to Burbank’s media industry.

The City of Burbank will be marking 110 years since the incorporation date of July 8, 1911.   

Help us celebrate Burbank at 110 by entering the Library’s digital photo contest using the theme: “Burbank, My Hometown.”
