Guide to App Design
App designers are in charge of making an app look good, while developers make it work correctly. Mobile app design encompasses both the user interface (UI) and user experience (UX). Computers and software applications available in the Spark! Digital Media Lab can be used to learn the basics of app design & development.
In the Lab
Software
- Adobe CC XD: a vector-based user experience design tool.
The lab is outfitted with 4 Mac and 4 PC desktops. Most software is available on all desktops.
