Guide to Web Design
Web design encompasses many different skills and disciplines in the production and maintenance of websites. The different areas of web design include web graphic design; interface design; authoring, including standardized code and proprietary software; user experience design; and search engine optimization. Computers and applications available in the Spark! Digital Media Lab can be used to build the skills you need to get started in the Web design field.
In the Lab
We have high powered PC and Mac desktop computers that are outfitted with a suite of industry-standard software, wherever you are in your web design journey.
The lab is outfitted with 4 Mac and 4 PC desktops. Most software is available on all desktops.
